Smart Commute Expo
Available All Year Round
The Smart Commute Expo is a fun and interactive event for employees to learn more about our programs and services.
Participants will be able to use our personalized commute calculator to find out how much time and money their commute costs as well as the amount of environmental impact their commute creates. There will also be a number of interactive booths available to engage participants in the various initiatives our partners are working on. Exclusive gifts and prizes will be offered to your employees at your workplace.
Carpool Week is an annual event to encourage people to carpool and celebrate how much commuters can save by driving to work, school or an event with at least one other person. Employees at Smart Commute Workplaces can look forward to exclusive promotions during this one-week campaign.
Whether you're driving all the way to work, or just to the GO station, chances are there’s someone else with a similar commute. Carpool Zone will help you get in touch with them and get the carpool started. Two people, sharing a 50km (return) commute five days a week will each save $54 on gasoline in one month.
More commuters choosing to carpool to reduce stress and share the cost of driving

During the week of June17-24 2013, employees will walk, cycle, carpool, telecommute, or take public transit to or from work in an effort to reduce smog and air pollutants produced during daily commutes. Last year, 85 Smart Commute workplaces representing 8,010 employees across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) participated in the Clean Air Commute.
