Get Involved

Achieving our goal of more children walking, biking and rolling requires nothing less than establishing new perceived norms around the best way to get children to and from school – away from the pile-up of cars jockeying for position in overwhelmed drop-off zones and towards modes of travel that create stronger and more vibrant children, schools, and communities.

The decline in active school travel is a complex problem involving infrastructure, policy, cultural norms, neighbourhood and school planning, parental pressures, and many other components. Reversing it requires the collaboration of people of diverse capabilities and interests.
