Smart Commute Expo
Available All Year RoundThe Smart Commute Expo is a fun and interactive event for employees to learn more about our programs and services. Participants will be able to use our personalized commute calculator to find out how much time and money their commute costs as well as the amount of environmental impact their commute creates. There will also be a number of interactive booths available to engage participants in the various initiatives our partners are working on. Exclusive gifts and prizes will be offered to your employees at your workplace.
Eco-Driver Lunch n Learn
February - MarchSmart Commute can deliver an Eco-Driver lunch n' learn that provides drivers with fuel-efficient driving tips. Topics covered in the presentation include, the benefits of switching to more efficient vehicles, proper vehicle maintenance and operation, and ways to avoid unnecessary driving. This workshop will teach your employees simple ways to reduce fuel consumption and save money!
Bike to Work Day
Bike Tune-up Clinic
May-JuneSmart Commute can deliver interactive one-hour bike tune-up clinics at your workplace during lunch hours. Led by professional bike mechanics, these hands-on clinics teach employees how to properly maintain their bikes. Employees will also recieve great gifts for their bikes, ensuring that every participant can take something away from these fun and educational sessions.
Cycling Safety Workshop
May - JuneExpand your employees' knowledge of bike safety by hosting a Smart Commute Cycling Safety Workshop at your workplace. These one-hour lunch workshops will cover topics such as the basics of the Highway Traffic Act, proper road positioning, and communicating in traffic. Employees will also receive great gifts for their bikes to help them ride safely.
